Scouting the Routes for Safe Walks to School


The school bell times at Moulton will change with the beginning of the 2018-19 school year. Our new start time is 7:30 AM and we will dismiss at 2:25 PM, with a 75 minute early dismissal on Wednesdays. Moulton GRIT Sets Sights on Iowa State University


Gifted. Resilient. Intelligent. Tenacious. That’s how principal Edward McCulley described Moulton students. Darrick Burrage (pictured) is a prime example. A newly minted graduate of North High, Class of 2018, and former Moulton Tiger, he’s taking full advantage of an Iowa State University education paid for by ISU, because he was a Moulton student. Moulton to Become Turnaround Arts School in August


Moulton is excited to announce that we will become a Turnaround Arts school in August, part of a national program that supports schools with innovative arts programs, arts integration across subjects, arts resources, and high-profile artist mentors. New School Hours Beginning in August


Beginning in August, all schools at DMPS will have new hours. The new hours at our school will be 7:30 AM to 2:25 PM. The change is being made to better serve the educational needs of students, based on research into the sleep patterns of children and teenagers. Click the headline for more information.

BaconFest Says Thank You to Moulton


Thanks to a donated lunch from The Blue Ribbon Bacon Festival, every student at Moulton Elementary School enjoyed a picnic lunch of all-beef hotdogs, apples, chips, and juice on the blacktop.
