The school bell times at Moulton will change with the beginning of the 2018-19 school year. Our new start time is 7:30 AM and we will dismiss at 2:25 PM, with a 75 minute early dismissal on Wednesdays. Gifted. Resilient. Intelligent. Tenacious. That’s how principal Edward McCulley described Moulton students. Darrick Burrage (pictured) is a prime example. A newly minted graduate of North High, Class of 2018, and former Moulton Tiger, he’s taking full advantage of an Iowa State University education paid for by ISU, because he was a Moulton student. Moulton is excited to announce that we will become a Turnaround Arts school in August, part of a national program that supports schools with innovative arts programs, arts integration across subjects, arts resources, and high-profile artist mentors. Beginning in August, all schools at DMPS will have new hours. The new hours at our school will be 7:30 AM to 2:25 PM. The change is being made to better serve the educational needs of students, based on research into the sleep patterns of children and teenagers. Click the headline for more information.
